About Dr. Chalifoux

Roland F. Chalifoux Jr., DO

Roland F. Chalifoux Jr., DO is board certified in Neurological Surgery as well as Interventional Pain Medicine.

He completed his medical school training at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in June 1987 and completed his Neurosurgical training in 1995 at Horizon Health System in Detroit.

He received his Board certification in Neurological Surgery in 1998. Following this, he became interested in minimally invasive surgery and Interventional Pain Management then receiving his certificate from the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians in 2012.

His interest is identifying and attempting to decrease painful areas in patients who have had automobile accidents, previous surgery, or just worsening arthritis. He is trained in performing many procedures which treat a variety painful nerves and joints in the body and thus reducing the use of opioid medications.

His goal is to help patients move forward in less pain and improve their quality of life. If you are not happy with the way you feel and want answers about your pain, Dr. Chalifoux will help you learn about the causes of your pain and do his best to help you achieve better satisfaction with your daily living activities.
